Emergency Hose Repair Sleeve – 38 mm (1.5")
A quick, lightweight solution for temporarily controlling pinhole leaks and small punctures in 38 mm (1.5") forestry fire hose.
The repair sleeve is manufactured from approximately 0.4–0.6 mm rolled stainless-steel sheet. Its open-sided design allows it to be installed quickly over a damaged section of hose without cutting the hose or removing the couplings.
When the hose is repressurized, it expands against the inside of the stainless-steel sleeve. The sleeve supports the damaged area and helps contain the leak, allowing the hose line to remain in service until the hose can be properly inspected and repaired. The sleeve also clearly identifies the damaged location for maintenance personnel.

Important: This product is intended only as a temporary emergency repair for small pinhole leaks and punctures. It is not suitable for large tears, burst hose, damaged couplings or exposed and weakened reinforcement. Do not install or adjust the sleeve while the hose is pressurized.
This use is consistent with established forestry-hose repair sleeves described as temporary leak-control devices that also identify damaged areas for later repair.
