Hardware

TFT AJ series detent elbows are cast to a 30-degree down angle for easy connection and to relieve the weight of the hose when connected. The swivel includes multiple detent options that allow the elbow to swivel 360 degrees. This makes the LDH connection easy and will allow the hose to find its path of least resistance on its own. They are an ideal elbow for pumps with built-in intake valves. Their maximum operating pressure is 300 psi (20 bar) and they are compliant to NFPA 1964 2018 edition which dictates a 900 psi (62 bar) hydrostatic strength test. The aluminum parts are hardcoat anodized per MIL-A-8625 Type III, Class 2 for maximum corrosion protection then powder coated silver. Hose couplings are attached using polymer bearing rings which provide electrical isolation to help prevent galvanic corrosion.
