Flow Test Kit shall include our choice of four (4) tips from the following tips that best suit this departments testing requirements. Selection will be from 1", 1¼", 1½", 1¾", 2", 2¼" or 2½" tips. All tips shall screw onto the end of the discharge barrel. Tips that are inserted into the barrel and held in place with a locking ring are not acceptable.

All Flow Test Kits must be UL Classified to meet third party testing as required by the NFPA.

All aluminum parts shall be hardcoat anodized, and all other metal parts shall be chrome plated brass or stainless steel.

The discharge barrel shall have a 2½" swivel female on one end and a 2½" male thread on the other end. All threads shall be NST unless otherwise specified by this department. Overall barrel length shall not exceed 12" with tip installed.

Flow Test Kit shall measure flows between 151-1851 gpm at 10-140 psi range with a 2½" discharge barrel.

Gauge shall be 3½" Class 1, liquid filled, 0-160 psi in 2 psi increments, ± 1% accuracy, encased in black Zytel, and swivel 360° for easy reading. Gauge shall be attached to the Flow Test Kit with a chrome plated quick disconnect so that the gauge can be removed for remote mounting if desired by this department.

All components shall be neatly fitted into a large, heavy duty carrying case that is water tight, air tight, and dust proof. The case shall have reinforced ribbing, continuous O-ring seal, pressure release valve, extra large handle to fit a gloved hand, four heavy duty latches, and is approximately 18 3/8" wide x 14¼" deep x 8" high. The case shall be fitted with die cut cubed foam packing to give maximum protection to the components of the Flow Test Kit. Case shall be black in colour and lockable for total security.

Complete instructions and flow charts are supplied with each unit for accurate measuring. Manufacturer shall offer an 800 or other toll free phone number to answer questions and for parts service if required. A detailed parts manual shall be supplied by the manufacturer.
