 Fire Hose Tester
The Hose Tester reduces the number of personnel required to test hose and eliminates the cost of engine fuel and added drive train maintenance. The Hose Tester is equipped with a garden hose inlet swivel female as standard or optional 1½"(38mm) female swivel inlet. Four 2½"(64mm) male discharge adapters are standard with every unit, or local threads if desired. (Allow 4-8 weeks extra for delivery of special threads.)

  • Test any and all hose sizes, ¾"(19mm) to 6"(152mm) booster hose, single or double jacketed hoses and relay hose with threaded or storz couplings using the proper adapters.
The 3 gpm pump produces the static load required to test all your hose to all NFPA and RMA standards quickly and efficiently. In the event of a blown hose line, or a separation at a coupling, the low pump capacity all but eliminates the wild hose line we have all seen in years past. The changes of personal injury are greatly reduced.

Optional high-pressure washer system available. Equipped with 50' of high pressure hose, high pressure wand, hi-low flow nozzle tip, soap and wax eductor. Your Hose Tester can be used year round for all types of clean up and maintenance projects.

All hose test procedures must follow the National Fire Protection Association NFPA) 1962 "Standard for Care, Use & Maintenance of Fire Hose" 1987 Edition and/or the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) standards.
