INSIGHT Portable Flow & Pressure Meter

 Use the new INSIGHT portable flow testers to determine the flow and pressure capabilities of your suppression systems or flow test your automatic nozzles, pumpers or hydrants. Test your department's effectiveness, calibrate your equipment, test your hydrant system and teach hydraulics in real situations.

All iPF series meters incorporate a new processor that allows for new features including multiple flow point calibration and multiple tube sizes. The iPF series is an easy to use meter which displays GPM directly without doing any calculations! The iPFPM series is a flow and pressure meter displaying both the flow and the pressure in the tube. (The iPFPM-12P gives forward flow pressure in the tube with a built-in pitot). Cap the tube for static pressure. 

Display Features:
  • Displays both flow rate and total flow 
  • Flow readout in 4-digit LED display 
  • Hard shell case with handle for display (dims: 10¾" x 9¾"x 7") 
  • Cut-out in case provides space for coiled cord storage. 
  • New software features 
    • Multiple tubes - use the same display for different tube sizes. 
      • Use MODE button to select the desired tube size. 
      • Use with a maximum of 6 different size tubes 
    • Display Stats - Read Serial#, Mfg date, software version with Mode button.
    • Digital Calibration with push-button interface, no screw-driver needed!
    • Linearizer© feature - allows for multiple flow point calibrations.
      • Improves flow readings
    • Safeflow© - feature - preset excessive and inadequate flow warning settings
  • Calibrate display to show flow in GPM or LPM
  • Operates from its internal rechargeable 12V (or optional 24V) battery
    • Optional external battery cable alligator clips may be used to power the meter from a truck battery
  • Replaces now discontinued portables: MF-PG, MF-PD and PF series
Flow Tube Features
  • All aluminum tube makes it lightweight! 
  • "Black Wrinkle" Powder-coat finish for scratch resistance 
  • Custom couplings can be ordered but expect a longer delivery time. 
  • Both case and flow tube have handles for better portability 
  • Flow sensor is standard FRC paddle wheel type and conforms to all plumbing rules and specifications for same posted elsewhere on this site 
  • The length of the flow tube is dependant upon model. (PF12 tube measures 23")
