The balance of the mask is constructed of CarbonX®, created and patented to be the world’s most highly thermally resistant woven material in existence. CarbonX® withstands temperatures in excess of 2600° F. The UB-V2 provides the wearer with some nuisance level measure of airborne particulate relief due to the physical barriers of CarbonX knit in the center ventilation orifice. The UB-V2 is a “one size fits all” garment and utilizes hook & loop closures at the back of the neck. The UB-V2 features the added benefit of 3M® Scotchlite Reflective Trim for nighttime visibility. The addition of a
CarbonX® cinch cord with a sliding nylon spring lock creates an air pocket for easier breathing & comfort. The integral hang strap allows it to hang loosely around the neck until needed.
