The pumper is powered by a proven Briggs & Stratton, 18 HP,
Vanguard "V Twin" air cooled engine with excellent power to weight ratio,
low noise level and easy starting. Standard features include an automotive
style air cleaner, an external oil filter, manual recoil starting system and
electric starter motor (battery extra). The pump is the well-known 4-stage
design unequalled in performance and reliability. All components are
corrosion resistant and incorporate a standard stainless shaft, anodized
aluminum impellers, distributors and housing. Intake is 2" NPSH and the
discharge 1½" NPSH. included. |

Other threads are available with the use of adapters. The engine and pump
are coupled with a stainless steel quick release clamp via a speed increaser
drive. The belt/pulley design requires no maintenance or lubrication and has
proven very durable and quiet. The manual pump priming system is designed
with ease of operation and simplicity. The pump can be primed before
starting the engine, avoiding possible complications due to a lack of water
in the pump. The pumper is a high performance design. Pressures of up to 420
PSI and flows of up to 110 US GPM can be achieved. It has a low weight of
137 LBS in the standard configuration and, depending on the choice of
frames, places this unit in the portable class. There is a choice of
standard frames consisting of a hand carrying type or a channel base. The
unit can also be mounted directly to a truck or trailer. Non return
