Automatic Nozzles

Introduction
TFT nozzles incorporate a unique slide type valve. This innovative slide valve has been field proven in both the Handline TFT and previous Booster style. THIS VALVE DESIGN CONTROLS THE FLOW WITHOUT CREATING TURBULENCE. The pressure control unit then compensates for the change in flow by moving the baffle to adjust to the proper tip size, maintaining correct nozzle pressure. Because of this action, the TFT slide valve allows the nozzle to be operated at any handle position without producing turbulence that can affect stream quality.

The stainless steel slide valve will not bind or tighten with age. Unlike a ball valve, the slide is not directly in the flow path and will not tighten under high pressures. Therefore, it is always easy to open.
