Remote Controlled Monitor

Model 299-20XHC Elkhart industrial monitors are designed to be available instantly when needed for fire protection or actual firefighting. They can be activated from a remote location where the operator can turn on the water supply, direct the monitor horizontally and vertically and change the water pattern of the nozzle. There is even an option that will allow the monitor to oscillate automatically, freeing the operator for other duties. Elkhart systems include the monitor, nozzle, valve box, hydraulic pump and control box. The system can be weather tight or explosion proof, depending on your needs.

  • Vertical and horizontal movements are driven by hydraulic actuators
  • Actuators have built-in hydraulic flow control self-locking needle valves
  • Vertical actuator allows movement of 150°
  • Horizontal actuator is available for 90°, 180°, 270° and 360° movement
  • Monitor furnished with CJIK-HP combination fog nozzle for flows of 1250, 1500, 1750 or 2000 gpm (4731, 5680, 6624, 7570 L/min)
  • Discharge thread 3½"(89mm) with 4"(102mm) 150# ASA Flange base
  • Ball races have grease zerks for easy lubrication
  • Red acrylic/urethane enamel finish
  • Width 24"(61cm), Depth 26½"(67cm), Height 33"(84cm), Weight 160 lbs(72.5kg)
