Model 294-11XBHC Elkhart industrial monitors are designed to be available instantly when needed for fire protection or actual firefighting. They can be activated from a remote location where the operator can turn on the water supply, direct the monitor horizontally and vertically and change the water pattern of the nozzle. There is even an option that will allow the monitor to oscillate automatically, freeing the operator for other duties. Elkhart systems include the monitor, nozzle, valve box, hydraulic pump and control box. The system can be weather tight or explosion proof, depending on your needs.

Rugged, all brass construction for dependable service in all environments
Bronze balls in all ball races and grease zerks for easy lubrication
Horizontal and vertical movements are driven by hydraulic actuators
Actuators have built-in hydraulic flow control self-locking needle valves
Vertical actuator allows movement of 150º (90° above to 60° below horizontal)
Horizontal actuator is available for 90º, 180º, 270º or 360º movement
Monitor furnished with SM-100HBP automatic nozzle for flows up to 1000 gpm/3785 L/min
Pattern is changed from straight stream to wide fog by utilizing a hydraulic piston with flow control needle valve
Both vertical and horizontal spur gears have safety covers
Monitor is shipped mounted on top of a 38" pipe spool with hydraulic lines attached and valve box mounted to spool
This entire assembly can be installed at ground level or in elevated location
