MONITORS
Hydro Actuated Oscillating Base
This actuator is manufactured between two flanges mounted on several rows of ball bearings, which allows the flanges to turn in relation to each other. The sweeping movement can be adjusted between 20° and 360° in increments of 10°. The rotation can be continuous depending on the selection. When the water supply is turned on and pressure is created, a spray comes out of the propelling nozzle hitting the wheel blades, this ensures the rotation of the flanges
in opposite directions. When the first indexing pin makes contact with the fixed stop, the flanges stop rotating.
The reversing gear pivots on its axle so that the spray exiting the propelling nozzle hits the other side of the blade; it will then turn the wheel in the opposite direction. Then the whole process is simply reversed until the second indexing pin strikes the stop... and so on. The speed of the rotation is adjustable between 0 to 2 t/min. Made in stainless steel and bronze, weighing 150 pounds.

Durham Oscillating Monitor Conversion Kit
The Durham Conversion Kit transforms an existing manual station monitor into an oscillator. Designed for use with most 2.5" or 3" I.D. single waterway monitors, flowing up to 750 gpm. Upgrading foam or water monitor coverage in any area is now as easy as unbolting the existing monitor and inserting the conversion kit between the flanges. Oscillating mechanism is identical to the one used on the Spectrum Model 4 Oscillating Monitor and is Factory Mutual Approved - File No. J.I.1R6A3.AF. Standard inlet and discharge flange is -4" ASA RF Flange 150#. Optional inlet and discharge flanges available upon request.
