Cot Fastener System

	Ferno^® Model 175 Series The Ferno^Ž Model 175 Cot Fastener System secures the ambulance cot in the vehicle. The Model 175 Series meets the published Standard AMD 004 and KKK-A-1822C. The fastening system consists of a front "antler" bracket that secures the front wheels of the cot and a rear fastener rail that fastens directly to the cot frame. Various mounting configurations are available depending on your specific needs and the type of vehicle.
Permanent mounting assemblies attach to the vehicle floor or sidewall and cannot be removed without tools. Detachable assemblies are removed by loosening the knurled knob, threaded bolts. Removable fasteners permit various mounting configurations for different cots and also facilitate cleaning of the vehicle floor.
Note: The exact placement of the Model 175 fastener varies for each model cot. Some cots can be interchanged with minor modifications to the fastener system, but others may need additional floor plates or other mounting hardware. For further information contact WFR.
