Ferno® Model 173 Series
Designed for the Model 28 Fernoflex™ cot, the Model 173 Cot Fastener System secures the cot in the vehicle. The system includes a front "antler" bracket that secures front loading wheels and a rear fold down fastener hook that anchors the cot frame. Permanent assemblies attach to the vehicle floor and cannot be removed without tools.

Detachable assemblies also require tools but can be removed and replaced permitting various floor mounting configurations and cleaning of the ambulance floor.

Note: A complete Model 173 Cot Fastener System must utilize Model 173 antler with either the 173-2 hardware or the 173-3 hardware. Model 28 cots with serial numbers lower than J-54164 are not compatible with the Model 173 fastener. Contact WFR for information on converting these cots.
