The compact size of the BP100 Series allows it to be mounted on top or behind the bumper, or installed behind the grille of popular emergency vehicles. With the speaker mounted away from the roof of the vehicle, sound is projected forward, effectively reducing compartment noise. The BP100 Series, in addition to the compact size, complies with Class A specifications. This specification requires measurement of 120 dB at 10 feet.

Revolutionary Design
The dual diverging patented manifold design projects sound more uniformly than conventional speakers. This means more sound projection to all sides, as well as to the front of the vehicle. Unlike other speaker designs, the BP100 Series provides superior high frequency response, maintaining 120 dB up to 1800 Hz. The housing is constructed of sturdy cast aluminum that will perform in all weather conditions. The compact speaker is compatible with all Federal electronic amplifiers. Because of its compact design, the BP100 Series requires a custom-built driver. Standard Federal drivers cannot be used with the BP100.

These compact speakers provide an excellent alternative to mounting a speaker in the light bar or engine compartment. Engine compartment noise and sound blockage reduce the effectiveness of an engine compartment mount.

Installation Versatility
By installing a speaker off-roof, you can take advantage of the maximum lighting protection an all-light bar provides. Its inconspicuous mounting location provides a definite advantage of those law enforcement departments which require a "slick-roof" vehicle. And the BP100P or BP100F is suitable for bumper mount installations on fire apparatus and ambulances.
