Teardrop Light

Instructions
- This unit is supplied with a dome hood for driver eye protection during dashboard-mounted situations.
- The unit also has a special slotted bracket feature for semi-permanent mounting. It is suggested that this bracket be used in emergency situations when car is in motion. Simply drill a .213-inch diameter hole (#3 drill) in roof of vehicle and drive in supplied screw to a point of 1/16" clearance under screw head. Pivot slotted bracket from under base and with bracket pointed to front of vehicle, slip bracket over and under screw head.
- A metal plate is provided to facilitate mounting your teardrop light to a vinyl dashboard. Simply strip the back-to-back adhesive pieces and apply to the surface of the plate. Then press firmly against the area of the dashboard on which you desire to mount the light.
- This lamp has been factory-tested and approved. If lamp fails to work after inserting plug into cigarette lighter, twist plug a few times to remove ash deposits from contacts. If problem persists, REMOVE lighter fuse from circuit then clean lighter socket and contact surfaces. Reconnect fuse and re-test lamp.
ATTENTION!
On vehicles equipped with driver- and/or passenger-side airbag systems (SRS), this equipment, including its supply wiring, should be mounted within the area specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Failure to mount the equipment within the area specified by the vehicle manufacturer could result in damage to and reduced effectiveness of the airbag and/or cause the equipment to become a projectile in the event of airbag deployment, resulting in serious personal injury and possibly death. To determine the specified airbag deployment area, please refer to your vehicle manual or contact the vehicle
manufacturer.
