Steps to choosing a vehicle lighting system:
- Determine the size of the lightbar required:
- What type of vehicle is it going on? (make/model, etc.)
- What type of mounting system do you want? (permanent, gutter mount, etc.)
- Decide what type of primary lights you need:
- Rotating halogens, strobes, etc.
- Decide on what type of auxillary features you want on your lightbar:
- Front flashing, rear flashing, alley, takedown lights, etc.
- Check to see if you require any of the following:
- Siren (full featured or basic)
- Speaker (lightbar mount, under hood, or grill mount)
- Switch control (to operate auxillary features on the lightbar)
- Determine if you require any other types of lights for your vehicle such as:
- Directional signal lights
- Grill lights
- Oscillating lights
- Headlight flashers
- Dash lights
- Scene lights (pole mount, tripod or portable)
