Extenda-Lite Push-Up Models
Assembly with Dual Heads or Single Light Heads with 72" Push-Up Poles
  1. Unpack the shipping box. Inside you will find an Extenda-Lite Push-Up pole assembly with the Dual Light Head Bar assembly unattached to the pole. The reason for not attaching at our plant is that UPS and freight companies damage the light head assembly when shipped assembled.
  2. Inspect the box and all items inside for damage. Report any damage to the delivering carrier immediately. If there is any damage, save the box and all packing materials.
  3. Have a clean work surface ready for the pole sections and light head assembly.
  4. Someone needs to hold the Light head assembly while you screw the inside pole onto the stud in the center of the Dual Light assembly cross bar, or in the case of a single light head on a 72" pole, screw the pole onto the threaded tilt arm that is at the base of the light.
  5. With the light head attached to the top of the inside pole assembly, go to where the cord exits the bottom of the pole, and pull all excess wire out of the bottom of the outside pole. Slide the rubber seal of the strain relief and the retaining cap into place and tighten the retaining cap onto the strain relief. Push the push-up hand grip into place with the grip finger notches in line with the lamp lens.
  6. Follow the attached mounting instruction sheet for SM or TR mounting brackets.
  7. If you have any questions concerning these instructions, please feel free to contact us.

Note: A convenient way to run cords through the body panels or into the compartments is with the use of a Hubbell SHC-1022 strain relief and/or its equal. This will give you a water tight sealed connection and wire protection all in one.

Black wire to circuit breaker's hot side.
White wire to breaker box's neutral bar.
Green wire to breaker box's ground terminals.
Make sure all wires are ran in areas that will not be hit or abraded. Use wire ties to hold securely in place.
