assembly, one (1) Pod-Ring Assembly already mounted on the tripod and one (1)
Foot Bracket.
- Inspect the box and all items inside for damage. Report any damage to the
delivering carrier immediately. If there is any damage, save the box and all
packing materials.
- Select the location for your new Extenda-Pod. Make sure there are no pipes
or wiring that will be damaged when the mounting holes are drilled. Remember
your new Extenda-Pod is a telescoping light when mounted on the apparatus and a
portable lighting tower when removed.
- If your new Extenda-Pod does not fit where you want to mount it, contact us
immediately for assistance.
- When mounting any Extenda-Pod with the PLMT Pod-Bracket Set, the Pod-Ring
with its tapered boss is mounted on the outside pole between the tripod leg
locking collar and the telescoping lock collar. The tapered boss on the Pod Ring
slides into the PLMT spring loaded pin assembly that is mounted on the
apparatus. The three legs of the tripod slip into the Foot Bracket. Select the
location of the Foot Bracket and the PLMT. Make sure the Extenda-Pod and
brackets are square and parallel. Mark, center punch and drill each of the four
(4) 5/16" holes for the top PLMT and Foot Bracket. Bolt these parts in
place. Slide the Pod-Ring up or down on the outside pole until it lines up and
can be snapped into place in the PLMT. After making sure that the Pod Ring lines
up and fits into the PLMT, remove the piece of plastic under one of the two (2)
set screws of the Pod-Ring and tighten.
- Set tripod legs into the Foot Bracket and the Pod-Ring into the PLMT making
sure that the spring pin snaps into the hole on the Pod-Ring's tapered boss.
Adjust as required.
- Each Extenda-Pod come with either a 120 volt or 240 volt plug and requires a
licensed electrician do the wiring on all 110/220 volt, AC receptacles adjacent
to the Extenda-Pod. All electrical equipment must be wired to a properly
protected circuit breaker box following all National Electrical Codes.
Note: A convenient way to run cords through the body panels or into

equal. This will give you a water tight sealed connection and wire protection
all in one.
