Spill Procedure Instructions
- Empty contents of spill kit on ground.
- If liquids are migrating towards drain use polypropylene cover along with
soil or snow (to weight down edges).
- If tank or drum is leaking, refer to "Plug 'N Dike" instructions
and seal up the leak, or slow it down.
- Encircle spill with socks.
- Toss pads into center of spill and retrieve if saturated.
- Retrieve pads and socks and place in disposal bag.
- Call Environmental or Safety Officer for correct disposal procedures.
Plug 'N Dike Repair Procedure
- Jam ball of Plug 'N Dike into puncture.
- Turn 1/4 turn, applying constant pressure.
- Smooth over edges with extra water.
- If on for extended perids of time, keep moist with water.
