Waste Pump Instructions

SAFETY MEASURES
  1. Observe this instruction manual before operation and maintenance. This instruction manual should be read by the mechanic and the user of the waste pump before operation and should be available near the waste pump.
  2. Persons who are not familiar with this instruction manual should not operate this pump.
  3. Young persons under the age of 16 should not operate this pump and should be kept away from it.
  4. Clean the pump with clean water before starting repair and maintenance work.

We cannot be held responsible for damages caused by our pump due to not observing this instruction manual.

TRANSPORT

  • Never lift or transport the pump by its power cord.
  • Never drop or throw the pump.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • The max. temperature mentioned in the technical information should never be exceeded.
  • Never use the pump in a swimming pool.
  • The waste pump should be used to pump up clean and polluted water with solid elements up to a grain of .39” in.
  • Observe the resistance list when working with heavy chemical polluted water.
  • This pump should not be used constantly pumping up dirt, sand and clay mixtures. It is forbidden to pump up explosive fluids with the Waste Pump.

HOW TO USE THE WASTE PUMP
- Never let the pump run dry for a longer period. (danger of overheating)

- Connect the hose, which pumps up the water out of the basin onto the inlet of the Waste Pump.
- Connect the hose, which pumps out the water to the FKC Fluid bag 500 onto the outlet of the Waste Pump
- Connect the plug into the power source.
- The Waste Pump starts to pump as soon as the highest level has been reached and stops when the lowest level has been reached.

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
The manufacturer or WFR should only carry out repairs. Only after permission of the manufacturer is it  permitted to make changes to the Waste Pump. It is only permitted to use original parts when a repair / replacement should be carried out. Always disconnect the plug out of the power source before carrying out repair or maintenance work. To avoid damages caused by normal wastage, it is advisable to carry out an annual inspection to the Waste Pump.
