FOAM EDUCTORS
Eductor Troubleshooting
Problem Suggestion
1) Mismatched nozzle and Eductor flow setting Change nozzle flow setting to match eductor
2) Nozzle partially closed or throttled Open nozzle fully
3) Nozzle clogged with debris Flush nozzle thoroughly
4) Nozzle elevated too high above eductor If possible lower nozzle elevation or raise eductor to avoid back pressure at eductor outlet
5) Hose lay too long Excess friction loss precludes proper eduction.
Shorten hose, or use larger diameter hose
6) Hose line kinked Check for kinks and straighten hose.
7) Metering valve is closed or set improperly Reset metering valve and double check.
8) Check ball stuck or metering valve clogged Remove eductor and flush every orifice thoroughly
9) Pick up tube screen clogged Flush the entire pick up tube and screen assembly
10) Foam concentrate too thick Foam could be aged. Use a different pail of foam
11) Pump discharge pressure too low Inlet pressure at eductor should be 200 psi .
