| Problem |
Suggestion |
| 1) Mismatched nozzle and Eductor flow setting |
Change nozzle flow setting to match eductor |
| 2) Nozzle partially closed or throttled |
Open nozzle fully |
| 3) Nozzle clogged with debris |
Flush nozzle thoroughly |
| 4) Nozzle elevated too high above eductor |
If possible lower nozzle elevation or raise eductor to avoid back pressure at eductor outlet |
| 5) Hose lay too long |
Excess friction loss precludes proper eduction.
Shorten hose, or use larger diameter hose |
| 6) Hose line kinked |
Check for kinks and straighten hose. |
| 7) Metering valve is closed or set improperly |
Reset metering valve and double check. |
| 8) Check ball stuck or metering valve clogged |
Remove eductor and flush every orifice thoroughly |
| 9) Pick up tube screen clogged |
Flush the entire pick up tube and screen assembly |
| 10) Foam concentrate too thick |
Foam could be aged. Use a different pail of foam |
| 11) Pump discharge pressure too low |
Inlet pressure at eductor should be 200 psi . |
