A dependable, quick-connect coupling system made of extruded 6060-T6 aluminum alloy, with hardcoat anodized finish. These fittings are attached directly to the hose, eliminating the old two-piece configuration.

Handles and pins are 316 stainless steel.
Gaskets are long-lasting Buna-N.
Expansion rings of 85-15 red brass.
Available in 1½", 2" and 2½" hose sizes.
Working pressure is 750 psi.
Minimum burst pressure is 2,250 psi.

One of the best things about this design is the slim-line profile which reduces drag and hang-ups. These fittings are attached directly to the hose. Red Head also makes 1½", 2", and 2½" expansion unit assemblies for these couplings. Adapters are available in both male and female NPT, NPSH, and NST threads. All cam and groove connections conform to MIL-C-27487 and ASTM-F1122-87.
