PPV FANS

Belt Driven Fan

The Tempest belt-driven blower is still the best for fire department applications. The belt-drive system helps to absorb engine vibration, which prevents the blower from “walking.” For the best combination of performance, durability, and stability, choose a belt-drive.

Features:

New Front KickStep
The front "KickStep" pedal allows the operator to tilt the blower forward effortlessly with one foot and easily maneuver the blower.
Turbo 2000 Shroud
By redesigning the inward curve and the front of the shroud, the Turbo 2000 increases air velocity by up to 30%. The air hitting the ventilation opening is stronger and maintains the Tempest "cone of air" farther downwind than before.
Winning Step
The patented foot-operated tilt mechanism, "Winning Step," features four back and one front tilt positions. Ideal for basements, cellars and other PPV applications - an exclusive Tempest feature.
Safety Grill
Front and rear safety grills feature a continuous spun wire with eight tie points. Meets strict European CE Safety Standards.
Wheels
9" pneumatic tires for heavy terrain are standard on all blowers 18" and larger. Smaller, hard wheels are standard on 12" and 16" direct-drive models.
New AirFlex Composition Impeller
Increases performance and solves the engine blockage problem common to gas powered blowers. AirFlex's aerodynamically designed impeller creates higher pressure resulting in less distortion of the air cone, critical for effective PPV. The AirFlex is more powerful and "flexible" as it maneuvers air around the engine/motor.
New Flip-up Handle
Quickly flips up or down. Makes transporting to and from the ventilation site easy. Can be released with one hand. 12" and 16" blowers feature a telescoping pull-up handle.
