Do Not Bleach. Bleach or other chlorinated substances will weaken the Kevlar thread and compromise the oils and chemicals in the leather. Rinse thoroughly. Gently wring dry. Hang to air dry with loop provided inside the cuff of the glove. Do not hang in sunlight. The ultraviolet rays may cause the thread to weaken. Do not force dry with a hair dryer, place over a heating duct, or expose to extreme dryer temperatures. Forced drying will cause the gloves to stiffen.

Do not use gloves that have not been thoroughly cleaned and dried. Doing so could jeopardize your safety.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry location. Do not stuff wet leather gloves in turnout pockets between calls.

Disposal
When decontamination of glove is not possible (i.e. chemical, radiological, or biological agents) discard in accordance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
