Description: A nearly 100% completely fire proof face garment (bandanna). The bandanna features an adjustable nose pinch shield (aluminum sandwiched by CarbonX® and Nomex®) for comfort and performance fit. The balance of the mask is constructed of CarbonX®, created and patented to be the world's most highly thermally resistant woven material in existence. CarbonX® withstands temperatures in excess of 3000 degrees F. The bandanna provides the wearer with some nuisance level measure of airborne particulate relief due to the physical barrier of the ventilation orifice centered on the mask (also of CarbonX®). The bandanna is a "one size fits all" garment and utilizes hook and loop velcro closures at the back of the neck. The bandanna features the added benefit of 3M® reflective trim for night time visibility. The addition of a cinch cord with sliding nylon spring lock creates a air pocket for easier air exchange and comfort. The integral hang strap allows it to hang loosely around the neck until needed.

Product Usage: Outdoor firefighting operations such as wild land fires, hay fires, forest fires, grass fires, field fires or any outdoor fire operation where a self contained breathing apparatus is either unavailable or impractical for use and burn protection is desired.

Coverage: Most areas of the face, no accessory items required.

Cleaning/Laundering: Attach velcro® neck straps, launder with minimal amounts of standard laundry detergent, wash normal cycle, hang dry. Can also be dry cleaned. Always remove chin cord sliding lock before washing and drying.
