With the new, compact design and lower center of gravity, the LT keeps weight evenly distributed and holds the helmet stable on the head. The versatile sizing system includes a new height adjustment feature, as well as Bullard's exclusive Sure-Lock^® ratchet headband that fits to the size of the wearer's head with a quick turn of the knob. The brow pad is washable and replaceable; a unique feature for fire helmets. Nomex chin strap is standard with quick release buckle and postman's fastener as is the rip-stop Nomex ear/neck protector.

The LT also offers the lightest configuration in an NFPA 1971 compliant fire helmet on the market, providing a reduction in stress and fatigue as a result of eliminating size and weight, without giving up performance.
