Walk-In Rescue

Your unique needs determine what type of Pierce Rescue you order. If you require:
  • Space for incident command operations
  • Space for rehab
  • A manpower transport for fire ground operations

Pierce offers a full array of customized Walk-In-style bodies designed for command, personnel rehab and transport. Our goal in designing and building the Pierce Walk-In Rescue is to equip you to handle any rescue situation with complete confidence.

Pierce Rescue bodies are primarily built of aluminum construction. Each vehicle is built using a combination of 5052 aluminum alloy sheets and 6061 aluminum alloy extrusions. A welded body construction ensures strength and rigidity throughout.

Pierce stainless steel rescues provide maximum durability. These vehicles have strength to defend against heavy use as well as corrosion resistance to defend against heavy weather. Pierce manufactures its rescues with 304L austenitic stainless steel. It is the right material for welded construction since it has a lower carbon content to prevent corrosion degradation resulting from the high temperatures during welding.
