A typical Wildland Type 3 is a configuration designed to meet certain
minimum capabilities. The Contender Type 3meets or exceeds all these requirements in a go anywhere 4-door 4x4 International WorkStar 7400 chassis witha 330 horsepower engine and automatic transmission. Standard features include a galvanneal body, a 500-gallonwater tank, 30-gallon foam cell, 500 gpm PTO driven water pump and a diesel powered auxiliary pump for excellent pump and roll performance. Single agent foam system, hose reel, front bumper discharges and storage, aluminum hosebed cover, loads of equipment storage space – and more, are standard features. It’s all packaged in a compact and maneuverable wheelbase for those tight off-road locations.
The Contender Wildland truck packs a lot of features in a small package as well. Based on the Ford F550 4x4,features include an aluminum flat bed with aluminum compartment construction, 400 gallons of water, hose reel and a choice of gasoline or diesel powered pumps. Add a foam system or additional storage options to suit the needs of your department.
CARRY THE FIREPOWER TO THE FIGHT. Choose a gas or diesel Waterous pump. The gas pump features an 18 horsepower engine and delivers 75 gpm at 150 psi or 200 gpm at 25 psi. The diesel pump is rated at 26 horsepower and delivers 175 gpm at 150 psi, or 250 gpm at 50 psi. Both are matched to a convenient Hannay electric rewind hosereel mounted at the rear with multiple hose options to fit your needs.

you quick knockdown. And specify a CAFS system for greater knockdown and water conservation. |
