• The patented MaxxMotion™ back support on the Air-Pod™ backpack delivers exceptional comfort and mobility, not only in a standing position, but also when the firefighter is bending over, crawling, climbing a ladder or performing critical tasks. The weight of the Air-Pod backpack is distributed evenly across the hips and lower back and therefore greatly reduces firefighter fatigue and stress on the body.
• The Warrior’s sleek design allows for complete integration of all key functions – low-air alarms, PASS, first stage pressure reducer and central power source are all located in one unified housing to give an unparalleled user experience without expensive add-ons. This design removes all of the dangerous snag and catch points found on other SCBAs.
• The unit has three carrying handles with carabiner attachment points that withstand to over 1,000 lbs. of pull force, allowing for easy and convenient carrying of the SCBA.
• A central power source provides at least one year of battery life, plus a constant battery status indicator on the front and the back of the warrior, even if the SCBA is not activated.
• The Warrior’s aluminum backpack foundation is made of lightweight aluminum for maximum strength, rigidity and mobility. It is designed to withstand 1,000 lbs. of pull force.
