"Load & Lock" Walkaway® brackets comply with the New NFPA 1901-03 standard.
Bracket consists of backplate, short footplate, two non-mar double-coated seats
and our new "Load & Lock" adjustable strap assembly. The backplate and footplate
are black thermo-plastic coated for years of trouble-free service. Hi-cycle
double coated clips will not mar cylinders. Strap assembly meets NFPA 1901-03
standard for SCBA retention and is easily adjusted.
Only the "Load & Lock" style Walkaway bracket may be used in crew areas. The new bracket will be available in two ways:
Knock-down bracket requires assembly in the field. Each bracket consists of a backplate, short footplate, two seats, "Load & Lock" strap assembly & cautionary labels. All hardware is included and assembly should require a few minutes time with a Phillips head screwdriver and 7/16" wrench.
